State of a performer's motionnis detected via a sensor (MS1) of the motion detector, andndetection data representative of the detected motion statenis transmitted to the control system. The control systemnreceives the detection data, analyzes the performer's motionnon the basis of the detection data, and then controls antone performance in accordance with the analyzed data. Fornexample, as the performer moves his hand, leg or trunknwhile listening to a music performance being carried out byna performance apparatus (1S) of the control system, thendetector detects the performer's motion and transmitsncorresponding detection data to the control system, whichnin turn variably controls the music performance.
