Electrochemical battery for conversion of low rate energy into high rate energy by parallel discharging |
abstract |
An electrode configuration for use in andefibrillator battery to improve the battery capacitynand its utilization efficiency by using a combinationnSVO cell and a CF x cell discharged in parallel, isndescribed. In other words, the anode of the SVO cell isnconnected to the anode of the CF x cell and the cathode ofnthe SVO cell is connected to the cathode of the CF x cell.nThe SVO cell provides a relatively high discharge ratenwhile the CF x cell results in long service life. Thisnresults in 100% of the usable capacity from both cellsnbeing utilized. |
