abstract The invention relates to a method for reducing the emission of unpleasant odors from anwater closet comprising the step of dispensing within the water closet a compact andncreamy foam, the foam being such that by dispensing 8 g thereof in a cylindricalncontainer having a diameter of 11 cm, it appears to be essentially constituted by bubblesnhaving a maximum diameter of 1 mm and having a substantially constant volume for atnleast 10 minutes. The invention also relates to a foaming composition for carrying outnsaid method, as well as to an aerosol bomb provided with dispensing means forndelivering a foam from said foaming composition. Advantageously, the foam of theninvention acts as a barrier against unpleasant odors possibly released from the waterncloset.
