An artificial leather shoe comprising a shoe upper made ofna shoe upper material, which is a laminate composed of a substratenlayer (A) comprising an entangled nonwoven fabric made of ultrafinenfibers having a fineness of not more than 0.01 decitex and containingnan elastomeric polymer, an adhesive layer (B) and a substrate layern(C) comprising an entangled nonwoven fabric made of fibers having anfineness of not less than 0.05 decitex and containing an elastomericnpolymer, as layered in that order, with the surface of the layer (A)nserving as the exterior, and a shoe sole material fixedly bonded tonthe shoe upper by means of an adhesive, which shoe is characterizednin that the layer (A) and layer (B) of the shoe upper material havenbeen substantially removed in that portion which bonds the shoe uppernmaterial and sole material together, so that the layer (C) is directlynbonded to the sole material by means of an adhesive has a sufficientnlevel of peel strength as required of a shoe, without impairing thensoftness, fashionability, quality appearance and other featuresnintrinsic in the material. |
