titleOfInvention Electroluminescent systems with polynuclear metal complexes
abstract The invention relates to an electroluminescent system consisting of a substrate, an anode, an electroluminescent element and a cathode. At least one of the two electrodes is transparent in the visual spectral range and the electroluminescent element contains, in the order below, one or more of the following zones: a hole-injecting zone, a hole-transporting zone, an electroluminescent zone, an electron-transporting zone and an electron-injecting zone. Each of the above zones can also carry out tasks of the other zones. The invention is characterized in that the electroluminescent element contains a polynuclear metal complex.
