A solid type pressure-sensitive adhesive compositionncontaining a rubbery polymer as the main polymer; andnpressure-sensitive adhesive sheets which use the pressure-sensitivenadhesive composition, are excellent in adhesivenstrength and holding power, retain the intact holding power evennwhen allowed to stand at high temperatures or made to have anreduced adhesive layer thickness, and are free from the problemnof adhesive protrusion or adhesive remaining. Thenpressure-sensitive adhesive sheets comprise a substrate andnformed thereon a layer comprising a solid type pressure-sensitivenadhesive composition obtained by a method comprisingnadding a tackifier to a rubbery polymer and treating thenresultant mixture with an isocyanate crosslinking agent toncrosslink the polymer. |
