The invention relates to silicic-acid esters of formula (I) in which R<1> and R<4> are selected, independent of one another, from the group of straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated, substituted or non-substituted C1-C6 hydrocarbon radicals and of the aromatic alcohol radicals. Each R<2> and R<3> is selected, independent of one another, from the group of aromatic alcohol radicals, and n takes on values between 2 and 20. These esters of oligo silicic acids comprising aromatic alcohols are characterized by having a good hydrolytic stability and can also be used in aqueous media or in processes for producing granulates without resulting in excessive losses in activity. In addition, these esters, when mixed with other aromatics, also prolong the fragrance of the aromatics which are not bound in the silicic-acid ester. |
