abstract | The main theme of the invention is to provide a cosmetic material containing ancrystalline superfine silk powder that is provided with the original structure ofnsilk yarn; with properties such as a unique gloss, feeling of touch, flexibility, andnelasticity; and with various properties such as excellent coating power,nspreadability, adhesion, feeling of touch, and formability, which are required ofnthe extender powder or color material of cosmetics. The cosmetic materialncontains a colored crystalline superfine silk powder obtained in the steps ofnbringing a silk substance into contact with an alkali aqueous solution atntemperatures ranging from 100°C to 150°C under pressure ranging from 1nthrough 5 atmospheric pressure to weaken the silk substance to not greater thann0.02g/d in tensile strength; thereafter, dealkalizing and drying the silk substance;nthen, powdering the silk substance into a crystalline superfine silk powder belown3 µ m in average particle diameter; and thereafter, dyeing the crystallinensuperfine silk powder with a natural or synthetic color material, or mixing thencrystalline superfine silk powder with a natural or synthetic color material. |
