titleOfInvention | Propylene-based copolymer composition |
abstract | A propylene-based copolymer composition comprises:n 10 to 60% by weight of a polymer component (A) comprisingnpropylene as a main component and having an isotactic index ofnnot less than 90%; and 40 to 90% by weight of a copolymer component (B)ncomprising propylene and other α-olefin having not more than 8ncarbon atoms and containing propylene and ethylene asnessential components, the copolymer component containing coldnxylene insolubles in an amount of from more than 20 to 70% bynweight based on the weight of whole polymers, and cold xylenensolubles in an amount of 10 to 60% by weight based on thenweight of whole polymers, and cold xylene solubles containingnan α-olefin other than propylene in an amount of less than 20%nby weight, and the composition being obtained by first producing thencomponent (A) by polymerization and then producing thencomponent (B) by polymerization. n The propylene-based copolymer composition of the presentninvention exhibits not only excellent flexibility andntransparency as well as heat resistance substantiallynidentical to that of propylene homopolymer, but also excellentnmechanical properties such as tensile strength and impactnresistance. |
