This invention relates to high molecular weight liquid, non-migrating,nnon-functional polyether polyurethane plasticizers. Thesenplasticizers comprise the reaction product of an isocyanate-terminatednpolyether prepolymer having an NCO group content of less than 13%nand a monofunctional alcohol having a molecular weight of about 32 tonabout 1,000 and an OH number of about 56 to about 1750. Thenisocyanate-terminated polyether prepolymers comprise the reactionnproduct of a diisocyanate and at least one polyether polyol. Thenpresent invention also relates to a process for the production of thenliquid, non-migrating, non-functional polyether polyurethanenplasticizers. This invention also relates to a process for the productionnof a polyurethane product comprising reacting at least onenpolyisocyanate component with at least one isocyanate-reactivencomponent, in the presence of these high molecular weight liquid, non-migrating,nnon-functional polyether polyurethane plasticizers, and tonthe resultant polyurethane products of this process. |
