A method of preparing coprecipitated inorganicnparticles, including subjecting a first portion of annaqueous solution containing two or more metal ions to ancoprecipitation reaction to form a liquid containingnnucleus particles; mixing the nucleus particles-containingnliquid with a second portion of the aqueous solution tonform a mixture; and subjecting the mixture to ancoprecipitation reaction to produce coprecipitatedninorganic particles. The coprecipitated inorganicnparticles are calcined to obtain calcined inorganicnparticles having an average particle diameter of 0.5-10 µm. n Also claimed is a phosphor comprising such calcined inorganicnparticles. |
