titleOfInvention Reactive dyes containing a linkage
abstract A reactive disazo dye of the formula (I) D1-Y-D2 wherein each of D1 and D2 is a chromophore of the formula (II)in which X is fluorine, chlorine or optionally substituted pyridinium, an SO3H is present in the 5-or 6-position of the naphthalene nucleus, n is 0 or 1, and Y is a bridging group or a sulphonic acid salt of the dye of formula (I). The dyes may be used for dyeing, printing or ink-jet printing, for example, of textile materials and paper and are particularly valuable for coloring cellulosic textile materials.
