Recombinant human serum albumin, process for producing the same and pharmaceutical preparation containing the same |
abstract |
Human serum albumin obtained by gene manipulationntechniques can be purified by a combination of specified stepsnin which a culture supernatant obtained from a human serumnalbumin-producing host is subjected to ultrafiltration, heatntreatment, acid treatment and another ultrafiltration, followednby subsequent treatments with a cation exchanger, a hydrophobicnchromatography carrier and an anion exchanger, and by salting-outnto thereby obtain a pure form of human serum albumin whichncontains substantially no proteinous and polysaccharidencontaminants, which is formulated into a pharmaceuticalnpreparation. This process makes it possible to effecientlynpurify recombinant human serum albumin and to providensubstantially pure human serum albumin which does not containnproducer host-related substances and other contaminants and isnsufficiently free from coloration. |
