abstract | An L-phenylalanine sensor wherein all of the reagentsnrequired in determining L-phenylalanine are integratedntogether, thereby enabling quick and convenientnquantification without resort to any special equipment,ndevices or techniques. This sensor is fabricated bynintegrating L-phenylalanine dehydrogenase, oxidizednnicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD + ) or oxidizednnicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP + ) as ancoenzyme and an electron mediator, which are employed asnreagents, with an electrode system comprising at least anworking electrode and a counter electrode. Also, a methodnof determining L-phenylalanine which comprises adding ansample containing L-phenylalanine to the above-describednsensor and electrochemically quantitating L-phenylalaninenis provided. |
