abstract |
To produce finely dispersed crystalline explosives, the explosive is brought into solution in an organic solvent, the solution is sprayed into a supercritical fluid which is miscible with the solvent and in which the explosive is not soluble, and the solvent is taken up by the supercritical fluid while the explosive particles crystallize out and the explosive particles are separated after expanding into a subcritical state for the supercritical fluid. The solution is sprayed into the supercritical fluid in a nozzle flow, the solution being sprayed into the supercritical fluid by means of a multi-substance nozzle or through a nozzle channel of a multi-substance nozzle, while a fluid is supplied to the multi-substance nozzle in a further nozzle channel. With this method, fine explosive particles with a defined average particle size, narrow particle size distribution and high bulk density are obtained. |
