titleOfInvention | Improved binding assays through multiepitope analysis |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for detecting an analyte in a sample, comprising the following steps: (a) preparation of a solid phase consisting of a non-porous support and at least two physically separated test surfaces, whereby each test surface contains different immobilized analyte-specific receptors; (b) the sample is brought into contact with the solid phase and a second analyte-specific receptor that carries a signal emitting group or that can be bonded to a signal emitting group; and (c) the presence and/or amount of the analyte is detected by determining the signal emitting group on the solid phase. |
