abstract The invention relates to an electroportable device for placing clinch-on nuts or break-off stem blind rivets. The device for placing the clinch-on nuts or break-off stem blind rivets comprises an electroportable body (1) containing an electric motor (2), a mandrel (3) and driving means to maintain and pull on the nail of the rivet and/or to pull, screw or unscrew the nut that is to be placed. According to the invention, the device also comprises means for presetting the travel of the mandrel. The invention can be used in particular to place blind rivets.
