abstract There is disclosed a spectrally and chemicallynsensitized silver halide emulsion, which comprises silvernhalide grains, wherein 50% or more of total projected areanof the grains is provided by tabular grains having {111}nprincipal planes and an aspect ratio of 2.0 or more, andnsaid tabular grains contain silver iodobromochloride ornbromochloride grains each having an AgCl content of 90nmole% or more, and having angular corners. There is alsondisclosed a silver halide color photographic light-sensitivenmaterial containing the silver halide emulsionnin at least one silver halide emulsion layer, and image-formingnmethod comprising subjecting the material tonscanning exposure, and then conducting color development.nThe present invention provides a silver halide emulsion,nwhich is monodispersed, high-speed, and high contrastnemulsion excellent in grain shape stability of {111}ntabular grains; and, the emulsion improves highnillumination reciprocity law failure and latent imagenstability after exposure to light. The present inventionnfurther provides a color photographic light-sensitive nmaterial using the emulsion, and image-forming method thatnexerts photographic characteristics of the above-describednemulsion or material even when they are processed by rapidnprocessing using a scanning exposure.
