abstract |
The present invention provides an immunoassay for thendetection of HCV core antigens in a sample which comprisesnsubjecting an alkaline phosphatase-labeled anti-HCV corenprotein antibody and an HCV core antigen in the sample tonantigen-antibody reaction in an aqueous solution containing ansalt at a high concentration to form an antigen-antibody complex,nand measuring the alkaline phosphatase activity of the formednantigen-antibody complex. Also provided is a reagent for thendetection of HCV core antigens comprising an alkalinenphosphatase-labeled anti-HCV core protein antibody, a salt atna concentration of 0.5 M to saturation and a reagent for thenmeasurement of alkaline phosphatase activity. |
