The preparation of a mono-disperse crosslinked bead polymer with thiourea comprises polymerizing a monovinyl aromatic compound(s) and a polyvinyl aromatic compound(s), aminomethylating with phthalimide derivatives and reacting with (substituted)thiourea or salts of thiocyanic acid. Preparation of mono-disperse crosslinked bead polymer with thiourea groups comprises reacting monomer droplets of a monovinyl aromatic compound(s) and a polyvinyl aromatic compound(s) to give a mono-disperse, crosslinked bead polymer, aminomethylating with phthalimide derivatives and reacting to give a bead polymer derivatives and reacting with (substituted)thiourea or salts of thiocyanic acid. Independent claims are included for the obtained polymer and heavy metal and noble metal removing processes using the polymer. |
