titleOfInvention | Functionalised low unsaturation rubbers |
abstract | The present invention relates to functionalized double-bond isoolefin and EPDM rubbers with a double bond content of 0.001 to 10% by weight and a content of hydrolysis-stable functional groups which are not bonded via benzyl groups of 0.01 to 25% by weight, the functional groups which have the structure -Sn - R. The functionalized double-bond isoolefin and EPDM rubbers according to the invention can be produced in a simple manner by reacting corresponding low-bond rubbers with sulfenyl chlorides and are particularly suitable for the production of adhesives, sealants, lacquers, vulcanizates and as a rubber component in rubber / plastic blends. |
