titleOfInvention | Hybrid electric motor |
abstract | The stator 1 of the motor described comprises a magnetic circuit (4) having several pole parts (12) each coupled with a corresponding electric coil (5). The rotor (2) consists of a coaxial assembly comprising a permanent magnet in the form of an annular disc and mounted axially, and two polar rotor parts (such as 6) arranged on either side of the magnetic disc. Each pole piece of the rotor has teeth (20) of uniform pitch, the pole parts of the stator each having several teeth (14) in substantially the same pitch as the teeth of the rotor. A tooth of the rotor (19) and a tooth of the stator (14), placed opposite, form between them a substantially constant air gap whose length E, measured in the radial direction of the motor, is chosen so that E = 4.28 µ 0 U ni (max) / B (max) ± 25%, where µ 0 is the vacuum permeability, U ni (max) the maximum magnetic potential difference generated by said coil, this coil having n turns and being traversed by a current i (max) , and B (max) the maximum permitted induction in the air gap to avoid saturation of the teeth under the effect of the maximum total magnetic potential difference U (max) across the air gap which results from the addition of U ni (max) and the polarization potential difference produced by said permanent magnet in this air gap, the permanent magnet being chosen so that the total magnetic potential difference across the air gap is substantially equal to or slightly less than the maximum U (max) . |
