On the light-transmitting substrate, a pixel electrode and answitching element connected with the pixel electrode are formed, and anmixture film containing a photosensitive prepolymer and liquid crystal isnfurther formed thereon. The mixture film is irradiated with the lightnhaving the first wavelength from the other side of the substrate to cure thenphotosensitive prepolymer contained in the mixture film, thereby to formnthe protection resin film onto the surface of the mixture film. Then, thenmixture film is irradiated with the light having the third wavelength fromnthe rear side of the substrate to cure the photosensitive prepolymer, nthereby to form the substrate-side resin film onto the fixture film on thensubstrate side. The surface of the mixture film is further irradiated withnthe light having the third wavelength through the protection resin film toncure the photosensitive prepolymer remaining in the mixture film, therebynto form the first resin film inside the protection resin film. A counternresin film is composed of the first resin film and the protection resin film, nand dissociated liquid crystal is arranged between the first resin film andnthe substrate-side resin film. As a result, the liquid crystal layer can benprovided without performing the liquid crystal filling process which wouldntake much time, thereby simplifying the fabrication process and reducingnthe fabrication cost. |
