A polycarbonate resin obtainable by reactionnof pentacyclopentadecane dimethanol, at least onencompound selected from the group consisting of tricyclon(5.2.1.0 2,6 ) decane dimethanol, cyclohexane-1,4-dimethanol,ndecalin-2,6-dimethanol and norbornanendimethanol and carbonic acid diester. This invention also describes a process fornpreparing this resin and the use thereof for optical products. |
