The invention relates to a measurement head for an optical measurement device, especially anspectrometer device, comprising a front unit, being moveable and/or compressible andnextendable between a starting position and a measuring position, wherein said front unit isnbiased to be in the starting position, a fixed rear unit, a sensor for indicating, whether saidnfront unit is in said measuring position, wherein said front unit further comprises at least threencarrier points for positioning a sample relative to said front unit, wherein said at least threencarrier points are each provided with a sensor indicating, whether said sample is in contactnwith the respective carrier point. The invention further relates to a measurement headncomprising a collector device for collecting reflected and scattered light to ensure reliablenmeasurement and analysis. |
