A method for removing carbon dioxide from a combustionnexhaust gas under atmospheric pressure makes use of a mixednsolution of a specific amine compound X and another amine compoundnY. The amine compound X has an alcoholic hydroxyl groupnand a primary amino group which is bonded to a tertiary carbonnatom having two unsubstituted alkyl groups. The amine compoundnY is an amine represented by the general formula R 1 (CH 2 NH 2 ) 2 ,nwhere R 1 is a methylene chain of 1 to 5 carbon atoms which maynbe substituted by a lower alkyl group. |
