titleOfInvention Electrochemical assay using an electroconductive diamond-coated electrode, and electrochemical assay system based thereon
abstract Electrochemical assay using a conductive diamond electrode comprising: transferring part of a test object to the surface of a conductive diamond electrode by rubbing the surface of test object against the surface of conductive diamond electrode; immersing the conductive diamond electrode in an electrolyte solution; altering the potential of the conductive diamond electrode from negativity towards a positive side, thereby to dissolve the transferred test object into the solution; and detecting the current change in response to the potential change, thereby to analyze the test object. Furthermore a conductive diamond electrode is used for analyzing plural components in a solution by using electroplating and changing of polarity thereafter. It is also used for uric acid assay when anodically oxodized. <IMAGE>
