abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of aliphatic C 4 -C 18 -α, ω-dicarboxylic acids from C 6 -C 20 -α, ω-dienes with hydrogen peroxide or compounds which release hydrogen peroxide under the reaction conditions. The reaction is carried out in the presence of Group VI transition metal catalysts and a mixture containing at least one organic acid and at least one aprotic organic solvent. |
