Pyran derivatives, which are obtainable through a stepnof reacting a compound having 3-formylcoumarin skeleton withneither dehydroacetic acid or a compound having 4-cyanomethylene-2,6-dimethyl-4H-pyrannskeleton, have a distinctive sensitivitynto visible light and a distinctive luminous ability, and thusnthey have various applicabilities in photopolymerization,nelectroluminescence, and dye lasers. |
