abstract | The present invention relates to an assay, and methods for the use thereof, fornthe assessment and quantification of pesticidal damage to plants, insects ornpathogens which comprises an enzyme-deficient microbial culture to which isnadded the extract of a plant, insect or pathogen in which such damage isnsuspected. The culture is then allowed a suitable period of growth, and suchngrowth is indicative of the amount of the damage resultant from pesticidalnexposure of the plant, insect or pathogen. |
