A yellow recording liquid such as an ink comprises yellow pigmentnparticles rendered hydrophilic at least on their surface (for example, bynattachment of sulfonic acid groups), dispersed in a liquid. The particles arenuniformly dispersed and do not aggregate, giving the liquid superior spray andnpreservation stability, as well as desirable surface fixability regardless ofnwhether that surface is hydrophilic or hydrophobic. |
