abstract | The present invention relates to odour control particles which find particular utility in absorbent article applications such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, diapers and the like which are provided to combat a broad range of odourous compounds found therein. In particular the present invention relates to the provision of odour control particles which are produced using a simplified method and thereby also provide odour control particles delivering an improved odour control performance benefit. The odour control particles comprise odour control active materials which have a density less than that of the odour control particles and which are formed by dry pressure compacting the active materials in the absence of a binder to form the odour control particles. |
