An olefinic resin composition having the specific range of density, melt flownrate (MFR), viscoelastic properties and melt tension is obtained. Thencomposition comprises (A) a polyethylene, (B) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymernhaving the MFR of 0.1 to 10, and (C) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer or anpropylene/α-olefin copolymer having the MFR of 20 to 200. When thencomposition is processed by calendering, its feed to the rolls and take-up fromnthe rolls are satisfactory, and high-speed formation of sheets having highnaccuracy in thickness is possible. The compounding of a fire retardant and anfoaming agent to the composition enables fire-retardant foamed sheets beingnbulky and giving a good feel to be obtained. The lamination of these sheetsnonto the paper substrate is suitable for wall paper. |
