The object of the present invention is to obtain a directlynimageable waterless planographic printing plate having a highnsensitivity and good image reproducibility and allowing a heatnsensitive layer to remain even after development. n The object of this invention can be achieved by a method ofnproducing a directly imageable waterless planographic printingnplate, which has at least a heat sensitive layer and an ink repellentnlayer in this order on a substrate, comprising a first step ofnimagewisely irradiating a precursor of the printing plate with anlaser beam, a second step of pre-treating the precursor by anpre-treatment liquid containing a glycol compound and/or a glycolnether compound represented by the following general formula (I),nor a pre-treatment liquid containing an amine compound by 0.1 ton30 wt% based on the weight of the entire pre-treatment liquid, andna third step of removing the ink repellent layer at the laser beamnirradiated area, in this order, to have the heat sensitive layernleft at least partially still after completion of the above steps.n R 2 O (-CHR 1 -CH 2 O) n -R 3 n(where R 1 denotes a hydrogen atom or alkyl group with 1 to 5 carbonnatoms; R 2 and R 3 denote, respectively independently, a hydrogen atomnor alkyl group with 1 to 15 carbon atoms; and n denotes an integernof 1 to 12.) |
