titleOfInvention | Copper pipe sheathed with a stabilised resin |
abstract | The invention relates to copper tubes, innparticular annealed copper tubes intended for thenrealization of conduits and which are provided with a sheathnmade of a resin based on polyvinyl chloride.n n n The composition of the sheath is based onnpolyvinyl chloride and includes less than 20% of anchalk type filler with particle sizencorresponding to: average diameter of 0.5 to 5 µm, ofnpreferably 1 to 5 µm, 98% of the material having a diameternless than 20 µm, preferably less than 15 µm.n n n A primary thermal stabilizer which is an0.05 to 4% organic tin salt can benpresent as well as thermal costabilizers and othersnmaterials such as stabilizers. The pipes can benobtained by depositing the protective layer on a pipenmade of copper by seamless continuous extrusion. |
