The invention relates to a method and tools implementing it, for installing an elastic collar (1) with ears (5) particularly suitable for example for the repetitive mounting of a hose (12) on a remarkable pipe (13). in that it comprises an automatic distributor (2) of collars (1) arranged to position each collar (1) so that its two ears (5) are accessible from the outside to be gripped by the jaws (9 , 52.103) of a manual extraction and fitting tool (8,50,100), the approximation of which for compressing the ears (5) of the collar (1) is obtained by external actuation means (11) separately controlled, l tool (8,50,100) comprising means for authorizing the free and non-reversible approach of the jaws (9,52,103) towards each other when the external actuation means (11) are stressed and means for releasing them directly or gradually at the desired time by an external control (14,123). |
