The invention relates to a method for generating a mixednoxidant gas for treating bodies of water by maintaining annanolyte within a specific gravity range comprising thensteps of: circulating the anolyte having a first specificngravity to an anode chamber of an electrolytic cell from annanolyte reservoir external from the anode chamber; circulatingnthe anolyte having the first specific gravity throughnthe anode chamber; circulating the anolyte now having ansecond specific gravity from the anode chamber to thenanolyte reservoir, wherein the first specific gravity isngreater than the second specific gravity; and circulatingnan anolyte having a third specific gravity to the anolytenreservoir from an anolyte make-up tank external from bothnthe anolyte reservoir and anode chamber, wherein the thirdnspecific gravity is greater than the first specific gravity. |
