Apparatus for producing oxygen enhanced gas from air |
abstract |
A fractionator produces an oxygen enhanced gas fornuse in oxygen inhalation therapy. The fractionatornincludes an air source for supplying air, and anplurality of columns for containing an adsorbentnmaterial for absorbing nitrogen gas. Each of thencolumns has first and second open ends. Air is directednfrom the air source to the column through the first opennends of the respective columns. A temperature sensorndetects the temperature of the side wall of one of thencolumns. The fractionator changes the time fornadsorption of nitrogen gas to the adsorbent materialnbased on the detected temperature. |
