abstract A band material for package production of a base lacquer with an ultraviolet or electroradiation imprint, in which up to 15 wt% cellulose ester is added to the base lacquer is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a packaging container punched out and/or deep drawn from a sterilizable and sealable band material; (2) preparation of a packaging container involving: (a) coating of the band material with a base lacquer to which up to 15 wt.% of cellulose ester is added; (b) imprinting the base lacquer coated band material with an ultraviolet or electroradiation pressure printing dye; (c) radiation hardening of the lacquer imprint; (d) punching out a section for the container base and cover from at least one coated band material, (e) deep drawing of the container base, (f) filling of the container base (sic), (g) connection of the container cover to its base, and (h) sterilization.
