abstract Two chambers (11, 12) are separated from each other by an intermediate piston (17) which is actuated for opening a shutter (20) and moved first in the flow direction (56) and then, optionally, in the opposite direction relative to said flow direction (56) for transferring from one chamber (11) into the other chamber (12). The piston is moved again in the flow direction (56) after a transfer operation and the unlocking of a stop means (70) so that the medium transferred and mixed with another medium is discharged from the chamber (12) through a discharge valve (25). A simple transfer or a simple mixture of the media is thus obtained before discharge, with a later discharge of the mixed media.
