Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondarynbattery, comprising an electrode group (5) includingna positive electrode, a negative electrode, andna porous separator interposed between the positivenelectrode and the negative electrode, the pores of thenporous separator being closed when heated, a nonaqueousnelectrolyte held by the porous separator, and a jacketn(3) formed of a sheet including a thermoplastic resinnlayer forming at least a portion of the inner surface,nhaving the electrode group housed therein, and havingnmutually facing regions of the thermoplastic resinnlayer heat-sealed to each other to seal the electrodengroup therein, wherein the positive electrode, thennegative electrode and the separator are made integral,nand the thermoplastic resin layer has a melting pointnhigher than a pore-closing initiating temperature ofnthe porous separator at which the pores of thenseparator begin to be closed. |
