The present invention is made to provide an organic-inorganicnhybrid material, a surface of which is suppliednwith a layer exhibiting photo-catalysis, without photo-degradationnof the substrate. The present inventionnprovides an organic-inorganic hybrid material comprising ansubstrate, an intermediate layer and a photo-catalysisnlayer which are sequentially formed on a surface of thensubstrate, wherein the intermediate layer is composed of annorganic-inorganic hybrid polymer material in which annorganic polymer component and a metal oxide component arencovalently bonded to each other, which is obtained bynhydrolyzing and polycondensing a solution or a wet gelnwhich comprises an organic polymer having an alkoxymetalngroup as a functional group or an organic polymer having anfunctional group reactable with a metal alkoxide compound,nand a metal alkoxide compound, and the photo-catalysisnlayer is composed of a metal oxide exhibiting photo-catalysis. |
