abstract Methods of making a full-color organic light-emitting display arendisclosed. The methods include ink-jet printing of fluorescent dopants selected tonproduce red, green, or blue light emission from designated subpixels of thendisplay. The dopants are printed sequentially from ink-jet printing compositionsnwhich permit printing of dopant layers over a light-emitting layer containing anhost material selected to provide host light emission in a blue spectral region. Thendopants are diffused from the dopant layer into the light-emitting layer bynexposing the light-emitting layer and the dopant layers to vapor of a fluid or fluidnmixture. When an ink-jet printing composition is formulated with a printing fluidnhaving fluid vapors which promote dopant diffusion, the steps of ink-jet printingnand diffusing of dopants can be combined to form a selectively doped light-emittingnlayer.
