Provided is a release liner formed of a plastic filmnhaving a laminated structure of at least three layers,ndescribed specifically, as two surface layers, (A) anrelease functioning layer composed of a polyethylene filmnhaving a density of 0.88 to 0.92 g/cm 3 and a melt index notngreater than 10 g/10 minutes and (B) a surface film layernhaving a thermal linear expansion coefficient similar tonthat of said release functioning layer and, as annintermediate layer, (C) a reinforcement layer having anmelting point not less than 120°C. By forming a pressure-sensitivenadhesive layer on the surface of the releasenfunctioning layer (A) of the above-described release liner,na pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet can be obtained. Thenrelease liner exhibits good release function without usingna silicone-base releasing agent and has heat resistancensufficient for not causing deformation such as curl evennwhen heat is applied to the liner. |
