abstract A gas-permeable film contains a vinyl-type polymer that contains a pendantncarbosiloxane dendrimer structure and a thermoplastic resin. The gas-permeable film hasnan excellent gas permeability as represented by its oxygen permeability and is also waternrepellent, moldable, heat resistant, and durable. It will, therefore, be useful in thosenapplications where such characteristics are critical, for example, as a film for medical andnhygiene applications, e.g., as a base film for feminine hygiene products and diapers,ncompresses, and adhesive plasters and adhesive bandages; and as a packaging material fornoxygen absorbents, odor absorbents, perfumes and fragrances, reagents, and oxygen-reactingnwarming agents.
