Non-b non-c non-g hepatitis virus gene, polynucleotide, polypeptide, virion, method for separating virion, and method for detecting virus |
abstract |
A gene usable in diagnosis and therapy which is obtained by separating a novel hepatitis virus gene and specifying the gene sequence thereof. This gene is a non-B non-C non-G hepatitis virus gene having a base sequence involving a sequence consisting of about 3,500 to 4,000 bases which can be amplified by PCR by using as primers an oligonucleotide having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:57 and another oligonucleotide having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:60, or PCR by using as primers the oligonucleotide having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:57 and another oligonucleotide having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:61. Based on the base sequence of this gene, polypeptides, etc. are provided. |
