abstract According to the invention, the floor heater has at least one heating element (1) containing a heating tube (11). Said heating element (1) consists of plated elements (7). Recesses (17) for guiding and holding the heating tube (11) are constructed on the bottom sides of said elements. The heating element (1) consisting of plated elements (7) is preferably part of a floor (3) with openings (4), said floor being self-supported by means of beams (5) and arranged above a hollow space. Said openings connect the hollow space to the area above the floor (3), whereby the recesses (17) containing the heating tubes (11) are open as far as the hollow space.
