The invention concerns a method for obtaining halogenated hydrocarbons comprising at least 3 carbon atoms which consists in reacting a haloalkane with a halogenated olefin in the substantial absence of nitrile and in introducing the reagents in mol ratio between the haloalkane and the halogenated olefin less than 2., thereby obtaining 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane with a high volume yield power. |
