The present invention relates to the use of equine milk, in particular ofnmare's or donkey's milk, for the manufacture of a preparation intended for the treatment andnprevention of oral disorders. Equine milk has been known sincena long time for its therapeutic properties. The invention proposes to use equine milknin a new application: the treatment and prevention of oral diseasesnsuch as canker sore, gingivitis, periodontosis or stomatitis and forntreatment of Gougerot-Sjörgren syndrome. For a more comfortable application, thenequine milk, previously lyophilized, is incorporated into a dosage form which releasesnslowly the lyophilisate. The unleavened tablet, tablet, chewy paste or syrup arenexamples of dosage forms suitable for application in the oral cavity. |
