titleOfInvention | Method for producing aqueous nail enamel composition |
abstract | A process for producing an aqueous nail enamel composition which processncomprises:n i) kneading and heating an aqueous mixture comprising water and a pigmentnwith an average particle size of 3 µm or less, where the concentration of the pigmentnis 60% or less and the pigment has previously been contacted with a substancenpossessing an ion exchange function, with a polyester polymer comprising a phenylngroup and having a weight-average molecular weight of from 2000 to 20000 and ansoftening point of 120°C or less when the polymer is molten, and simultaneouslynremoving the volatile matter under reduced pressure; ii) dissolving the resulting mixture in an organic solvent at a concentration ofnthe mixture of 50% by weight or less; iii) mixing the resulting solution with an organic solvent solution whichncomprises 80% or less of a resin comprising 1-5 meq/g of a functional group capablenof being dissociated to form a cation or an anion; iv) neutralizing the resulting mixture and contacting the mixture with ansubstance possessing an ion exchange function to remove ionic impurities before ornafter carrying out phase inversion by dilution with water; v) distilling off the organic solvent; and vi) contacting the residue with a substance possessing an ion exchangenfunction to obtain an aqueous nail enamel composition comprising a colourednpolymer composition dissolved in substantially only water. |
